The Hilton Vancouver Airport offers a convenient location near the airport and surrounding restaurants, with generally positive guest feedback. However, recent reviews highlight issues with inconsistent service, high prices for ancillary items, and a lack of amenities like kettles and toiletries. While some guests commend the staff and facilities, significant concerns have been raised regarding value and overall experience.
Felt like a big money trap. After westjet canceled our flight and gave us the voucher, it felt like Hilton was nickle and dimming us for everything. Also the "breakfast buffet" was absolutely not worth $34 a person. Just stayed at Stanford in Fernie and their complimentary breakfast was better. Absolutely would not recommend.
A little disappointed with my stay at this Hilton. Back when I used to travel a lot for work, I would always be very excited to stay at any Hilton, at any location in BC, as most of them have been more "High end" and better service and quality. Stayed here for 1 night with my girlfriend and check-in felt neutral, but did not feel welcome. This is usually fine, as I understand service staff can not always be in the best mood, this is mostly something I ignored. Once we reached the room though, this is where the disappointment came, bottled water were $3 dollars (I have never had to pay for water at a hotel in BC before) This was surprising, there was not a way to boil our own water either , usually there would be a electric kettle or some sort. Next there were no robes or slippers available in the room, or disposal toothpaste / toothbrushes that are usually in 90% of the hotels I used to stay at which were rated much lower and cost a lot less. Unless I am crazy and the hospitality culture has COMPLETELY changed in the last decade since I travelled, this is usually something hotels or hostels normally have. I would have EXPECTED that HILTON, to have this still even if it is no longer a norm. When I tried to call the front desk from the room phone, no one answered. After this I went down back to the lobby in person to try and speak with someone. (they said they just didn't hear the phone ring) The upside is when I got to the front desk to inquire about this, they DID provide better service (Once we checked in I guess they treated us with better care) and provided said toiletries at request, their demeanor was more friendly after as well versus during checking in. The bed was clean and comfortable, the room was spacious and vibe was okay. This was about the only upside to the room itself. The rest of the facilities were great. No complimentary breakfast Wi-fi was extremely slow and horrible Parking was 35 dollars / I usually do not have to pay for hotel parking in the past
I booked my June 2025 wedding at the Hilton Vancouver Airport from halfway across the world. Shaunella and her entire team were nothing but professional and downright amazing to work with. The wedding was everything we envisioned, and more! If you’ve been looking for a reason to book a large event with the Hilton Vancouver Airport, let this be it. The amount of flexibility, cooperation, kindness, and consideration of the Hilton team is unparalleled. From the front desk team, every single member of the wait staff, the wedding coordination team, even the audio/visual sales team and set up staff, every single person was amazing. They handled the tables and chairs set up with ease , and did our table set ups exactly how we envisioned. The added bonus is that they worked perfectly in sync with our decorating company! My family did a site visit right before we booked the venue (February 2024) and to our surprise, the restaurant staff remembered my family when we did our tasting in September 2024. The staff still remembered me I came back in June 2025 to settle final details. This really speaks to the amazing staff and training from the Hilton. We had a 200 person wedding and nothing but praises and marvel of how amazing it went. People are still happily talking about our wedding even over 6 months later, and what a great time they had. We seriously cannot recommend the Hilton enough. Thank you so much!
I would like to share the moment of staying in the hotel. Even though we stay for one night. The service is good especially the service in the restaurant Mengmeng who aware of us she gave excellent service please do acknowledged her…we felt welcome especially my daughter..(I didn’t get a chance to get other employee who work inside helping mengmeng) keep it up ladies… Thank you have a good day… Happy Holidays God bless always
Booked the hotel from the airport after i missed the flight. The free shuttle was there and came to the hotel without any hassle. The check in was so smooth and the girl at the front desk was so nice. Happy about the room, mine was just next to the gym on 5th floor. Also they have swimming pool facility and the restaurant open till 10pm. There's a small fridge but only missing thing is a microwave in the room
Victoria at the front desk was amazing. I work for the airlines and had a rough day until I was greeted by her kind smile and warm personality. She completely turned my mood around by immediately offering my flight crew French chocolates, gift bags with slippers and amenities, and a room upgrade. The hotel was spotless and the staff was very welcoming with incredible hospitality, so I would love to be back soon!
My stay at the Hilton Vancouver Airport was very positive. I was happy to receive an early check-in, which was a helpful piece of pre-arrival accommodation. A pleasant surprise was the upgrade to a lovely suite, showing a nice degree of guest recognition. The hotel staff were consistently friendly and courteous, offering good guest service throughout my visit. The spacious suite accommodation certainly enhanced the trip, offering a comfortable and well-appointed retreat. Additionally, the on-site restaurant proved to be a convenient and enjoyable amenity. The dining experience was solid, offering a quality meal without needing to leave the property. I recommend this hotel, especially for travelers looking for comfortable space and professional staff.
The service was stellar at the hotel and restaurant. We only stayed a couple of days, but it was positively memorable. The rooms are very clean; the food & drinks are fantastic; and it's a great location near a few restaurants and the Richmond Centre Mall. It's also very close to the airport (of course, given the name), so that's a plus. We were on the 17th floor facing east, and it was a nice view. Highly recommend for any travelers to the area!
We waited hours past our check in time to get a room. The staff were incredibly nice but we were exhausted and just wanted to decompress. The staff gave us a bag of goodies and a room upgrade once we were finally able to check in. Outside of checkin, we had a lovely time. I am still giving the hotel a high rating despite the poor experience with checkin because of how much the staff tried to make up for the situation.
This is a very nice hotel that is comfortable, clean, and quiet, but what really made the experience great was the amazing staff. All of the evening employees were amazing, but particularly Victoria. She was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home and had everything we needed.
