Excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Vancouver Airport! The location is incredibly convenient—just minutes from YVR with a reliable free airport shuttle that runs regularly. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a microwave and fridge which was a nice bonus. The bed was super cozy and despite being near the airport, the room was quiet. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Perfect for an early flight or a layover. Highly recommend!"

I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express Vancouver Airport, and I want to give a special shout-out to Robinson, who operates the airport shuttle bus. We arrived with several pieces of very heavy luggage, which made our transfer quite stressful. Robinson was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. He immediately took the initiative to help us load and unload all our heavy bags with a big smile. His genuine hospitality truly touched us and made our arrival so much easier. I also want to commend the front desk team. Although I didn't catch their names, the staff during check-in and check-out were fantastic—very friendly, always smiling, and extremely efficient. Furthermore, the breakfast was a pleasant surprise! While it looked simple with a focused selection, everything tasted great—especially the omelettes, which were delicious. The ladies at the restaurant front desk were also wonderful, providing excellent and warm service. It’s rare to encounter such a dedicated and professional team across all departments. If you’re staying here, I hope you’re lucky enough to meet Robinson and the wonderful staff! They are true assets to this hotel.

Excellent Stay - Outstanding Service from Omar and Kenneth Had a great experience at the Holiday Inn Vancouver Airport. What really made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from Omar and Kenneth. Both went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for guests turned a good stay into an amazing one. Highly recommend this hotel, especially thanks to these two fantastic team members. They're a real asset!

The room we were originally assigned to was next to some guests who had their loud TV on till late at night. The heater too was very noisy. The scent of some cleaning chemicals that we are sensitive to kept us up at night besides the noisy heater and the sounds of screeching race cars from the TV next door. Next day we asked to switch rooms. The manager on afternoon shift gave us another room. In the middle of packing to move to the next room, he called to ask us to move within 10 minutes. 5 seconds later housekeeping barged in to move us over because they have to clean the room before the end of the shift. Mind you one of us was in the middle of using the washroom when housekeeping swung the door wide open. This housekeeping staff kept insisting that we had to move right then and there when we were in the middle of packing and washroom business. When we explained we were given 10 minutes to move over, she told us we can use the clean bathroom over there. Like hello, can't you give people a chance to finish up? Do you even know what it's like to be interrupted in the middle of using the washroom? She even called us rude. Who barged in in the first place? We reflected to the manager about this unprofessional encounter and he said that he already called our room to apologise and that he already spoke with the housekeeping manager about this. Nope, he did not make any phone call apologising about the situation. Liar!! Breakfast costs $20 per person at the adjoining restaurant. The parkade is rather tight and the 2 levels are not connected. There are 2 separate entries and one of them the card reader is not working.

Had a great stay on New Year’s Eve. Huge shoutout to Joyce, Kenneth, Omar, and Meir for making check-in ridiculously smooth. I felt at home within minutes. Special mention to Omar, who handled my room service request with Olympic-level dedication. Truly inspirational. I’ll be honest… I usually don’t expect much from a Holiday Inn but this crew made me question everything. They honestly gave the Fairmont a run for its money. Give them all a raise. Give them a week of paid vacation. Maybe even name a hallway after them. 10/10 service. Would stay again.

This was an excellent stop in Vancouver, my refuge, my saving grace. I needed a room at 445 am, found this one right next to the McDonald's. Fogg & Sudds restaurant really serves great food and drinks. Quiet and peaceful area, hardly any sirens. I am definitely adding this pin ? to my "forever map" ?? secure gated parade. Very close to airport so its convenient, shopping close to the area within 5 minutes, also Richmond casino isnt far away either.

Good rooms, spacious bathroom, very comfortable pillows I wish I could take them home. A nice gym, with weights, elliptical, weight machine thing, standing exercise bike and sitting, with a bathroom in the gym. Great staff, very friendly and even took our bags to our room for us! Rooms are not to far to get to, if your on the second floor it’s convinent because the gym is to. Big ice machine, comfortable lobby. Great hotel and staff! The guy who helped us name was “Omar”, and he was nice and shared some stories about where he was from, and his friends that live near us. Although I wish it would’ve had a pool that would be really nice, and the gym equipment is pretty old, with the old iPod chargers still too. And you have to keep peddling and not stop or slow down to power the screen on. And the tp is hard to reach, it’s so far from the toilet.

Went in not expecting much from a hotel airport, but this property is pretty solid considering price point and location. The breakfast was plentyful and the rooms were clean. All the staff was very kind and friendly. We ran into Omar down the hakkway and he was very quickly to find a way to help us enjoy our night even better. The gym was nice and clean, eventhough machines are a bit dated. The little outdoor terrace outside the gym fitness centre (2nd level) is a fun place to have quick drink and watch some big planes land. Only wished there was an indoor pool here. Rooms were renovated and beds and linens were comfortable. Good there is some coin operated laundry in the gym. Area is alright, very convenient McDonalds next door.
