Great location close to the airport for convenience. The staff and customer service were great. All staff I spoke to were very friendly, polite, and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated and, there was wear and tear which isn’t surprising for the location, business, and proximity to the airport. The coffee in the rooms was horrendous. I’m not a picky coffee drinker, but I couldn’t even drink it. It didn’t taste coffee, and it was oddly bitter and acidic. I’ve never had coffee in a hotel that was like that.

Our stay at the Sandman Hotel was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The level of hospitality, accommodation, and overall service truly exceeded our expectations. The facilities are excellent, and having Chop Steakhouse & Bar and Starbucks conveniently located right on the lobby level made our stay even more enjoyable and seamless. The entire front desk team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely smiling — you can tell they truly enjoy what they do. We were especially fortunate to be assisted by Alfredo. He greeted us warmly, took the time to introduce us to the Sandman RSVP Rewards Program, and even helped us book through our portal so we could fully benefit from the rewards. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed. Alfredo also recommended fantastic nearby restaurants and ensured we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. His friendliness and professionalism truly elevated our experience. We would absolutely book here again and highly recommend this hotel — especially for the breathtaking views from the higher floors. I had a great experience at the Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport Hotel & Resort. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the location close to the airport makes it very convenient, especially if you’re traveling. I would like to especially recognize Alfredo for his excellent service. He was very friendly, professional, and made sure everything during my stay went smoothly. It’s always great to see staff who genuinely care about the guests’ experience. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Vancouver. Highly recommended.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was great overall. The front desk staff were very helpful, especially Nestor. I’ll admit I was one of those guests trying to rush through check-in and probably came off a bit rude, but he was incredibly kind, made me laugh, and completely changed my attitude within minutes. That really stood out to me. The food at Chop Restaurant was delicious, and the shuttle driver was efficient and professional. Overall, it was great value for my money. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be choosing this hotel again for future visits.

I've stayed a few times at this hotel. The rooms have been comfortable and one time I had a balcony. I stay at this hotel when my flight plans leave early in the morning or when my flight comes on very late. Starbucks in the foyer is a bonus because it opens at 6am. You have two restaurant choices on the lower level - Chops Steakhouse and Denny's. The gym is small - and open concept attached to the Tennis Association Centre. I'm not a big fan. This hotel does exceed in customer service. 5+ with brought smiles no matter how many times I leave my keys in the room.

Excellent location close to the airport! The staff was extremely accommodating with our early arrival. We came in from our cruise ship early that morning and arrived well before normal check-in time. Mr. Nestor was happy to hold our luggage so we could go out and explore without any stress. Nestor was especially helpful — he contacted us as soon as a room was ready, which allowed us to check in early. He also did a great job arranging the shuttle service to the airport and made sure we had a nice, quiet room. His service really made a difference in our stay. The shuttle driver was excellent as well — professional and friendly. The rooms were clean, and the hotel overall was very well maintained. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Last night our flight was canceled and we had a terrible experience with the airline, so we were already stresses. Air Canada book this hotel for us, Nestor was very kind and took the time to help us get adjoining rooms so my wife, our little boys, and I could all stay together. That meant a lot to us, especially after such a long and frustrating day. He even brought some toys for my kids, which completely made them happy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and having a 24-hour Denny’s attached to the property was a huge plus — especially when traveling with kids and arriving late. After such a bad start to our trip, we’re very grateful that at least our stay at this hotel was a great experience. Thank you for the kindness and hospitality!

This hotel is actually pretty great. My family and I stayed here while caring for a family member. The staff upon check in was kind and supportive. Nestor was welcoming from the start. He made check-in quick and spent time helping us with the shuttle times and recommendations for what to do during our last day. He definitely cares about guest experience , the rooms are fine and very clean, the lobby very comfy. My soon enjoyed the water slide so much and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Kay, a duty manager at this location, was able to sort out an unfortunate arrival and check in experience. He was compassionate & caring sorting out the situation for an older guest. Kay is extremely professional, knowledgeable and understanding regarding customer service. His calm demeanor was much appreciated. Thanks for everything Kay! Highly recommend 10/10.

We love this hotel with everything or has the offer. With a family of 5 with 3 kods, it's very convenient with lots to offer. We love how easy it is to park at the hotel and take a shuttle bus to and from the airport. Way cheaper to park their than the airport. Even when the shuttle bus missed us and we took an Uber, they compensated me. They have state of the art indoor tennis courts, a nice pool with a large tube water slide that goes outside the building. Had the best sleep in a while with a super comfortable mattress. I actually took note of it and will buy the same one, lol. I strongly recommend this hotel. Their services are top notch.
