I am extremely disappointed with how my reservation was handled. I originally booked my stay under the Hearties Family Reunion rate after securing both an event ticket and a hotel reservation. About a month after the event organizers later denied my full weekend attendance due to my food allergies, they reached out to Vancouver Marriott Airport Hotel and told them I’m no longer attending. My two hotel reservations were canceled, leaving me without accommodations for my planned trip to Canada. What is most frustrating is that the hotel chose not to honor both of my reservations or offer any alternative solution. Even if the discounted rate could no longer be honored, I would have appreciated the opportunity to rebook at another available rate rather than having my entire stay canceled. Guests should not have to worry about losing their accommodations because of circumstances beyond their control, especially when those circumstances involve medical or dietary needs. This experience left me feeling unsupported and unwelcome. If you have medical accommodation needs and are attending an event connected to this hotel, I encourage you not to stay here. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with no trip, no accommodations, and a very negative impression of how guests are treated with medically necessary food allergies.

This is one of my favourite hotels!! So many great things about this hotel. Location is great! Lots of fun places to eat in walking distance as well as the train station is close too. Free shuttle to/from the airport is very valuable. Staff are friendly, polite, and solve problems with care and professionalism. Rooms are clean, stocked well, and have nice views. The in room nespresso machine is a favourite as well. The only thing I would say is missing is slippers and robes in the room. If you need a place to stay near the airport or Richmond area I’d stay here again and again :)

Every morning at breakfast, she went above and beyond with her professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth, creating a welcoming experience for all guests. She is a big reason my company continues to choose this hotel over others in the Vancouver area. Thank you, Lisa, for delivering such an outstanding guest experience! The hotel is amazing and it was great to take in the Cherry Blossoms in the park located across the street.

We were booked this hotel by the airline that cancelled our flight. We wanted to leave this review for the two ladies working the front desk on the night of 2/28. After a 20+ hour day of travel, the last thing you want to do is check into a hotel after a cancelled flight. Upon entering, these ladies had a warm and friendly smiles and made check in a breeze. Any questions and requests that we had were resolved extremely quickly. Thank you!

One of the nicest places I've ever stayed in. Love the view from the 16th floor and the sliding barn door style room dividers between bedroom and bathroom and living room. Lovely. Included organic tea which I appreciate, free parking as a guest. I would have liked a house coat so I could enjoy the outdoor heated pool on the fifth floor without having to walk through the halls in just my bathing suit.

Close to YVR, newish facilities on a hotel site consisting of three Bonvoy hotels. Restaurant,coffee and bar on-site. Good service, clean and not outrageously priced.(I'm looking at you YVR Fairmont!). No wonder it's the go to location for numerous flight crews.

After a long day of airport delays and cancelled flights I checked into this hotel and was greeted by Mia at the front desk. She was extremely welcoming and professional. She even gave us a free upgrade. Wonderful service in the restaurant also.

By far the worst Marriott hotel I have stayed. The room is old (even though the bathroom looks newish) with thin walls that don’t have any function blocking noise from outside of the room. We stayed in room 312 for two nights this winter, and there was a terrible low-frequency pounding sound on and off that woke me up at 2am and lasted for almost 40 minutes. It came back at 7:30am next morning. The noise came from either the rooms up- or downstairs. I went downstairs to told the staff at 2 at the middle of the night and it seemed like the only thing they did was adding a note of noise complaint. On top of this, when I mentioned this noise and the terrible experience to their staff at check-out, the staff didn’t even offer any apology. As a Marriott gold elite member I’m very disappointed about the experience with Marriott at Richmond this time. This hotel shouldn’t be qualified for a 4-star hotel. It’s at most a 3-star!!

Good place to stay n room is clean n cozy feel. Morning breakfast buffet is good but it is not much selection for there is no any selection of cold cut n smoke salmon like before. If it is the case, the current price/costs seems too pricey.... Come n see.

Nice atmosphere hotel n restaurant staff are nice n serving with professional. Front desk staff are very nice n friendly. Food selection are good n esp the breakfast menu. There are good number of free parking on site. Come n check it out. Cheers.
