The Westin Wall Centre Vancouver Airport offers a convenient location near the airport and transit, with generally positive guest experiences focused on cleanliness, comfort, and helpful staff. While praised for its shuttle service, restaurant quality and room amenities, some reviews note issues with inconsistent service, particularly regarding restaurant food quality and promptness of staff assistance. The hotel also lacks a dedicated lounge for Marriott elite members.
A great hotel- I stayed here twice in a week, before and after a cruise. The shuttle is very convenient and runs on time. The train is within easy walking distance and will take you to downtown, directly next to the cruise port. There's an almost unlimited amount of restaurants and dining options within walking distance of the hotel. There's no lounge for platinum and titanium, but you can eat breakfast in the restaurant and they'll waive the cost. It is table service however, and you are expected to tip. My flight out was very early, and they provided a prepacked breakfast in the morning which consisted of Greek yogurt, granola, an orange, orange juice, and a slice of banana bread. All of it was delicious; I just had to drink the OJ and eat the yogurt before going through security. The rooms are nice, with very large TVs, comfortable beds, and a nice shower as well as a soaker tub. I would stay here again based on location alone, but the people working here really made it nice.
We enjoyed an overnight stay at the Westin Wall Centre. Location is right in the thick of it all, near to the airport complex. The rooms are very nice, clean, and the property was clean. No club lounge available, but they did offer breakfast (very good BTW) in the main level restaurant instead of points for those with status. Parking is adjacent. Pool and hot tub are on the back of the property and indoors. Great visit.
Very very helpful and professional staff. Called an uber to drop by but has no room available due to recent Westjet strike. Benjamin at the front desk patiently helped me search around many options nearby and eventually helped me got a room at Sheraton downtown. His patience is very impressive. Even though I did not get a chance to stay here, I still want to leave this comment for him (and another male staff also helped me I don’t know his name). That represents the level of help and service I would expect from Marriott group. Awesome!
Just a night before my cruise. Room is good size for 2, the best part is they have 2 luggage holder. They serve good breakfast but its from an ala-cart menu so you dont have the luxury to refill your plate if you like something.
?The hotel itself is fantastic—the beds and linens are incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. ?However, be cautious if you dine at the hotel's restaurant, The Apron. While I don't mind paying premium prices for a good meal, the execution here doesn't match the cost. I ordered the $70 ribeye, and at that price point, it should absolutely be served hot, not cold. If you're going to charge high-end steakhouse prices, the food temperature and quality control need to match. ?Great stay overall, but the restaurant definitely fell short.
Front desk here is well on top of things. We had an issue on check in where the bed sheets were not changed from the previous guest, and they were able to get everything sorted immediately. Rooms are standard business traveller amenity. Food and Beverage earn bonus points here, the restaurant bartender and breakfast host were sharp to a T! Would stay again if the price was reasonable for the level of amenities. Great shuttle service to/from YVR.
I had a great stay at The Westin Wall Centre, Vancouver Airport. The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the location near the airport made everything super convenient. The staff were especially helpful and professional throughout my stay, and very friendly, helping me with anything I asked. I also want to thank the front office team for their clear communication and assistance after my checkout regarding my security deposit, they handled everything respectfully and offered a smooth solution. Overall, a very positive experience. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a reliable and comfortable hotel near Vancouver Airport.
I had a wonderful stay here. The room was beautiful and very clean—everything was absolutely tip-top. The bathroom was a highlight for me, with a full soaking tub and a separate shower, which I really loved. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The service was excellent from arrival to departure. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. This hotel also has a restaurant inside called The Apron, and it’s phenomenal. Definitely give it a try while you’re there. The bar area was also wonderful and very welcoming. Overall, a great experience and a place I would happily stay at again.
My husband and I had our wedding here in January 2026 in the 4F ballroom (and Lulu Island room as a bridal lounge). Our event coordinator was Mei Lee, followed by Jennifer Le, and finally, Nadia Oblak. They all have very fast response time and clear communication. They provided fantastic concessions and great care in everything they did for us. We had a lovely, unforgettable wedding and received wonderful service from the banquet team, headed by Colin and Utku. Everything was well organized and efficient. Great parking options and close to the skytrain. P1 in the parkade has an elevator that goes straight up to the conference floor which is perfect for rainy days. The Westin team made our special day seamless and beautiful. It felt like their only goal was to make our lives easier in any way possible. After the wedding, we stayed in the bridal suite for 3 nights (1 night complimentary, and 2 nights upgraded from a standard room we booked). The reception staff were lovely and the food at the Apron was delicious, though menu prices are on the pricier side (ours was complimentary, so no complaints from me). The room was gorgeous and spacious. Our only complaint would be with the in-house overpriced tech team ENCORE who charged us labour costs for electricity. Otherwise, I couldn't imagine a better team than Mei, Jennifer, Nadia, Colin, Utku, and the rest of the banquet team - Phenomenal service and Impeccable communication. Everyone was so lovely to us that I could not imagine holding my wedding anywhere else. Big thank you again from myself and my husband!
After hours in airports, I was disappointed and frustrated when my connecting travel plans changed last-minute. I went directly from YVR airport to this hotel. When I asked if they had rooms, the man at the front desk, told me yes and to book online as I stood there, which I did. Despite me telling him about my frustrating and long journey to get there, he didn't acknowledge my story or offer me any empathy. Just "here is your room key" and no explanation of amenities. Very cold and rude. I was feeling even worse than when I arrived. The room overlooks the freeway, and the sound of cars and doors slamming from neighboring rooms kept me up all night. When I checked out the next day and was asked, "how was your stay" I was honest. I was very impressed with Alex and Ethan at the front desk. They listened with empathy and compassion and apologized - despite it not being their fault. I was offered to have my meal covered and additional Marriott points, which I appreciated. Alex and Ethan are the reason I am giving this review 4 stars. They really understand and deliver excellent customer service. Props to them both!
